EXTREEM HALAAL. After lengthy consultations with the ICSA, a step by step action plan was implemented to ensure that our facilities, suppliers and work processes are compliant with the stringent requirement for Halaal Certification.

The decision was made to prioritize on the establishment of Extreem Halaal due to the large Muslim Community in Cape Town that is being under catered for. As caterers ourselves, we were not comfortable with the Halaal services and products we had to contract in for our functions. This poor product and service delivery was a direct reflection on us, but completely beyond our control.

Our market has widely expanded once we achieved Halaal Certification. We can now offer our expertise to a growing market that previously could not utilize our expertly and passionately delivered, products and services. Various Local and National Government functions are now being hosted and catered for by Extreem Halaal. Large corporations have welcomed the transformation to being Halaal Certified. This enables one caterer to cater for both Halaal and Non- Halaal meals for large functions and events.

Our Passion, Our Food, Our Products and Our Services are still the same and now operate within ISCA Guidelines. Clients with Halaal requirement can now be assured of our entire team’s commitment to delivering the food and service that we have become known for.

Service delivery to Other Caterers

After achieving Halaal Certification, it quickly became evident that several Non Halaal Catering Companies in Cape Town regularly require Halaal Meals for a portion of their events. Extreem
Halaal now also offers this service to catering companies requiring Halaal Certified meals.

On larger events where the Halaal requirements are substantial, we assist the caterers by sending our chefs along to assist in the preparation and service of the halaal meals to ensure high quality, freshly prepared hot meals which were previously not available.

On request of Halaal Meals by other caterers, we consult with them on the menu compilation and endeavour to prepare meals as close as possible to their proposed menus on offer.
